A while back I shot a series of photos for Meezy & Co., the Toronto company that bought the Canadian rights to the super-classic Salt Water Sandal line. After shooting the pictures, I was asked to design the lookbook too. As a photographer, it's very nice to handle your own images, so I was happy to do the job and to spend a little more time with the adorable model, Mia.
Take a peek and get ready to outfit all your cutest little ones in these preppy and timeless shoes when they hit Canadian stores in the New Year. (Hey Americans, you can snag some now at J. Crew!)
And guess what! The generous folks at Meezy & Co. want you to win a pair! It's a giveaway! There must be a little girl or boy in your life (yes, fashionable boys can pull off certain colours and styles!) who will need a pair of washable, waterproof, all-terrain shoes! I know it's hard to think of sandals right now, but you'll thank me later.

You are talented Mr. Jason. Congratulations on all of the amazing opportunities that have been extended to you.
ReplyDeleteI have loved Saltwaters from afar for a while now... how great my little lady would look in a pair!
ReplyDeleteGreta says "I really like the over the foot part". The fact that they're "waterprooth" makes them something all puddle jumpers can appreciate.
ReplyDeleteThese sandals remind me of the quality shoes from my childhood. It isn't often you see children's shoes made of good quality materials anymore! I look forward to them being available in Canada!

I have an adventurous little girl who could certainly make use of those Salt Water Sandals! Great looking look book Jason!
ReplyDeleteI had these as a little girl. Then the nostalgia prompted me to purchase them when Nordstrom offered them briefly in me teens. It seems only appropriate to make a nod to the past once again.
ReplyDeleteTruly beautiful photos, as always.

ReplyDeleteAre you feeling better? You are being missed (by me! Very much so!)!
Where are you Jason, we miss you!
ReplyDeletewe are salt water freaks! affordable, practical, and super cute!
ReplyDeleteincidentally, the hoy shoe company {originator & manufacturer} is located in st.louis, but sadly does not mean we can get any deals. which is weird, because we are nowhere near any body of salt water, and there is 3 inches of snow on the ground with a balmy temp of 2 degrees F.
anywho, since we get about 8 pairs a year between four littles and myself...one for free would be fantastic! just sayin'.
My little boy could definitely carry a pair off :) Too easy!
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, glad you are back. Woke from an afternoon nap recently remembering it had been awhile since I heard anything from your side of winter.
I absolutely love these and look forward to a cottage portrait with all the little girls in a range of colours. Hope they come to Toronto soon! Julia the doting aunt.
