Pesto Pasta
2 cups of packed fresh basil
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/4 cup pine nuts
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
3 cloves of minced garlic
In a food processor, finely chop together basil, parmesan cheese, pine nuts, salt and pepper. While blending, add the oil in a steady stream. Stir in the garlic. It should make 3/4 of a cup. Boil fresh pasta for 7 or 8 minutes and toss with the pesto. Serve with salad or bread or wine or all of that.
I didn't take a photo because we ate it too fast.
I made pesto pasta for dinner tonight too! Weird.
